brunch at betty’s nosh!

Hi! I’d love to tell you about a great place that deserves a little recognition. Today, the four of us went to betty’s Nosh and it was seriously amazing!

Tom, Jaxon & Mason

We love to grab brunch after church on Sundays and hearing that they serve Eggs Benedict, our favorite, we headed over. Now, they don’t just do one kind of E.B., but THREE!! Aside from the classic, they also do a Crab Cake Bene and House Made Corned Beef Bene! For some silly reason, I ordered the Classic-which was outstanding!-but will be back to try the other two. I’m guessing next Sunday, hee! Not just to try the other Bene’s, but also to try more of their mushrooms!! But I’ll get to that in a minute….

Jaxon’s Reuben may have stolen the show…

This reuben is superior to all other Reubens because of the pretzel roll bun. It’s awesome. It holds all those delicious sandwich parts in place so you can eat it without it falling apart everywhere. Yum. Get one!

Tom was happy happy with his Ribeye Steak and Eggs with a side of Betty’s scalloped potatoes.

We also shared a Belgium Waffle, because. It was perfection. Fluffy, syrupy, vanilla-y.

Now this is how they reel you in. Betty’s has a friggen mushroom bar! I too wondered what a mushroom bar is all about, well lemmetellya! They have, like, 14 different kinds of toppings you can put on a mushroom. Like a meal on a mushroom! You can get Thai Chicken, Shepherd’s Pie, or even one called South of the Border. Amazing! We got the Italian Sausage with marinara and mozzarella cheese. Yea that was the only one we ordered. Again, silly! But whatevs, we’re going back soon to try more.

Thankfully they offer a Sampler Platter of eight mushrooms with four different toppings so we’ll be able to go crazy. I also really wanna try their Cinnamon Sugar Sweet Potato Fries and the Street Tacos.

By the way, they do an impressive happy hour all day Sunday as well as Monday-Friday. I ordered a Mango Bellini and Tom had a Ruby Red Cooler. They have a great drink menu and offer some nice wines as well. OH! Friday’s and Saturdays they have live entertainment!

Thanks for checking out our new fun find. Please support local and family owned businesses!  Betty’s Nosh is located at 6685 W Beardsley Rd, Glendale, AZ 85308

Disclaimer: Our blog and photos are a work in progress and hopefully we’ll get better at both as we go! Thanks again.
